Migrate

Move from Supabase to your own server.

Import copies your Supabase project onto a Da8a server, server to server. Then you swap two strings in your app. supabase-js keeps working.

  1. Start a project

    Pick a plan, or use an avocolab / AvocaCompute server you already have with 4 GB of RAM or more.

  2. Import

    Enter your Supabase project URL and session-pooler connection string. Choose whether to bring users and storage files.

  3. Swap two strings

    Point createClient at your Da8a project URL and anon key. That’s the app change.

What comes across

Your project, not just your tables

  • Tables and data, functions, triggers, Row Level Security policies and extensions
  • Users and their logins, so people sign in as before
  • Storage files
  • Your Supabase project is left unchanged

You’ll recreate edge functions and their secrets, and re-enter OAuth callback URLs in each provider’s console. The guide lists every step.

client.ts
// Before
createClient('https://abcd1234.supabase.co', '<old-anon-key>')

// After
createClient('https://<your-project-url>', '<new-anon-key>')
